The central axis of the Master Plan is the planned route of an urban thoroughfare that crosses the Seraing Valley from east to west over a 6.5 km stretch, with a 25m course, intended to facilitate mobility in the heart of the valley whilst generating an urban dynamic (economic activities, residential) in the quarters that are traversed.
The urban thoroughfare is to comprise cycle lanes, pedestrian spaces, green areas.
The thoroughfare is to enhance and upgrade the sites and projects under development.
The thoroughfare is a work of public art that is to be financed by the Walloon Region (MET, SRWT, TEC).
